How to Play
So you're new to the game and you don't have any idea how to play? Don't worry!
This game was developed so that everyone could play,
even people who haven't even used the word "stock" before! Below is
the step by step procedure on how to play. Enjoy!
- First off, you must register. This can be done by clicking
here. Once you have
registered you will receive your login information in the email provided. This information
is very important. Do not lose this information, or else you will not be
able to play the market.
- Now, you should be registered and ready to go! Visit the
login page to log in to the
system to begin activating your account. Once you login, you should see a few links on your
right.
- The My Info link can
be used to update your personal information, while logged into the Cybertown Bank Exchange.
- The My Stocks link
will take you to the page that will help you maintain your account. If you have not
registered for an account prior to clicking this link, it will require you to register
for an account.
- You're ready to start buying and selling stocks! More information on buying and selling stocks
can be found here.
Stock Exchange Brokerage Fees
The Cybertown Bank has incorporated the following brokerage fees into the daily trading
of all Shares. These have been implemented and in effect since
June 21, 2006
- Buying of Shares
- For every share of stock purchased from the CT Bank you will be charged a 10.00% commission.
For example, if you purchase 20,000 shares in ADV @ 17ccs per share (340,000cc total cost), the bank will
charge you 34,000ccs commission. The total cost of this purchase would then be 374,000 ccs.
- Selling of Shares
- For every share of stock sold from the CT Bank you will be charged a 10.00% commission.
For example, if you sell 5,000 shares of ADV @ 56ccs per shares (280,000 cc total worth), the Bank will receive a commission
of 28,000ccs. The total amount then returned to
you would be 252,000 ccs.
These commissions will flow into the Cybertown Bank and be used for funding interest rates, dividends, events and promotions from the bank.
