Stock Index The Stock Index contains the bulk of the information concerning the growth and decline of each stock in the market. Every stock available to purchase is listed on the page, with at most the past three days prices and changes from the previous day's sale price. Located at the bottom of the page is the total market value and average increases/declines for all stocks throughout the date If a specific stock is clicked, a page loads for the stock, showing graphically as well as numerically how the stock has performed over the past month, hopefully giving an indication of how it will perform in the future. Use this page wisely, to hopefully help you gauge how your favorite stocks will perform, as well as others you may be interested in purchasing soon. Buying Shares To buy shares of a stock, follow the simple steps below: Log on to the Cybertown Bank Exchange web site, using the login page Click the My Stocks link, and bring yourself to your Stock Market account page. If so, Proceed with the purchase When the page reloads, you will need to place the request at the Bank's inbox, to finalize the transaction. Log into Cybertown, and go to the Bank using the Jumpgate Click on the "Donate Citycash" button button. Copy the "Transfer Message" from the table, and place it as your description of transfer. Copy the Price amount from the table, and place it as your amount to transfer. Once the bank verifies that the correct funds have been transferred, your account will be registered with the new stock holdings CANCELLING A PURCHASE: To cancel a purchase, you must visit the Bank and place an inbox message with the subject of "CANCEL PURCHASE", and body of the inbox must include Transfer Message from your purchase. On your account maintenance screen, click the red 'X' button next to your purchase order. Once the cancellation has been processed, you will be reimbursed with your funds. **You may only buy a maximum of 50,000 shares of any given stock during a seven day period, so be sure to buy your stocks wisely. ** Selling Shares To sell shares of a stock, follow the simple steps below: Log on to the Cybertown Bank Exchange web site, using the login page Click the My Stocks link, and bring yourself to your Stock Market account page. Within the Sell Stock table, select which stock you wish to sell. Also, enter how many shares of the stock you wish to sell. Click Calculate Price Verify that the transaction results are valid, and you wish to proceed with your transaction. If so, Proceed with the sale Once the bank staff recognizes that the sale has occurred, your personal holdings will be updated. CANCELLING A SALE: To cancel a sale, on your account maintenance screen, click the red 'X' button next to your sale order.
